Blind Man Healed Near Jericho • Life of Jesus
Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, was a blind beggar healed by Jesus near Jericho. Mark names him and records his persistent cry to Jesus as Son of David. Matthew describes two blind men in the Jericho episode without naming them, while Luke also records a blind man receiving sight near Jericho.
