Father of Caleb • Exodus and Conquest
Jephunneh was the father of Caleb, one of the twelve spies sent into Canaan and one of only two from that generation permitted to enter the Promised Land. Through Caleb, Jephunneh's family became closely associated with the tribe of Judah and the inheritance of Hebron.
