Shuhite friend of Job • Wisdom Literature
Bildad the Shuhite was one of Job’s three friends who came to mourn with him and later debated him. He strongly defended a traditional view of divine justice, insisting that suffering must reflect sin, and he urged Job to repent and seek restoration.
