Messenger of the Philippian Church and Fellow Worker of Paul • Early Church
Epaphroditus was sent by the Philippian church to assist Paul and deliver their gift. Paul described him as his brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, messenger, and minister to his need. He became gravely ill during his service but recovered, and Paul sent him back to Philippi with honor.
