Roman Governor of Judea • Early Church
Felix was the Roman governor of Judea before whom Paul was brought after being transferred from Jerusalem to Caesarea. Felix heard the accusations presented by Tertullus and later listened privately as Paul spoke about faith in Jesus Christ, righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment. Although Felix repeatedly spoke with Paul, he left him imprisoned for two years.
