King and Herodian Ruler • Early Church
Herod Agrippa II was a Herodian ruler who visited Caesarea with Bernice during the governorship of Festus. Because Agrippa was familiar with Jewish customs and controversies, Festus discussed Paul's case with him. Agrippa then heard Paul's defense, including the account of his conversion and commission to preach to Jews and Gentiles.
