Follower and Witness of the Resurrection • Life of Jesus
Mary Magdalene was a devoted follower of Jesus. Luke records that Jesus had delivered her from seven demons and that she helped support His ministry. She witnessed the crucifixion and burial and went to the tomb after the Sabbath. All four Gospels place her among the first witnesses to the empty tomb, and John records Jesus appearing to her personally.
