A Moabite woman who married Chilion, the son of Elimelech and Naomi. After Chilion's death, Orpah initially set out with Naomi and Ruth toward Judah. At Naomi's urging, she tearfully said farewell and returned to Moab, while Ruth chose to remain with Naomi.
