Husband of Naomi • Judges
An Israelite from Bethlehem of Judah who moved with his family to Moab during a famine. While living in Moab he died, leaving his wife Naomi and their two sons, Mahlon and Chilion. His family's story becomes central to the Book of Ruth and ultimately leads to the lineage of King David.
