Philip was one of Jesus' twelve apostles and came from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Jesus personally called Philip, who then brought Nathanael to Him. Philip appears prominently in John's Gospel during the feeding of the multitude, the arrival of Greek seekers, and the Last Supper.
