Synagogue Ruler at Corinth • Early Church
Sosthenes was a ruler of the synagogue in Corinth. After Gallio refused to hear charges against Paul, Sosthenes was seized and beaten before the judgment seat. Acts does not explain the reason for the attack or provide further details about him.
