Roman Emperor • Early Church
Nero was the Roman emperor during the latter portion of Paul's ministry recorded in Acts. Acts does not name Nero directly, referring instead to Caesar. Paul exercised his right as a Roman citizen to appeal his case to Caesar, which ultimately resulted in his journey to Rome.
