Titus

Gentile Christian and Trusted Coworker of Paul • Early Church

Titus was a Gentile Christian and one of Paul's most trusted coworkers. He accompanied Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem and was not compelled to be circumcised. Paul later relied on Titus during the difficult relationship with Corinth, entrusted him with work connected to the collection for Jerusalem, and left him in Crete to appoint elders and strengthen the churches.
